Thank you to everyone who came out to round 1 at the Red Devil Lounge and cheered COPUS on! We so appreciate your energy and love. In addition, your votes enabled us to move on to ‘round 2’ in the Emergenza international music competition (www.emergenza.net) – pretty cool. So far there have been over 100 bands performing in the San Francisco branch of the festival and to date, COPUS is in third place for number of votes (the wonderful BAYONICS, who played at the end of the evening for those of you who stayed, is in first place).

‘Round 2’ is scheduled for SATURDAY NIGHT, APRIL 1st (…’and may the fool be you!’) at the 12 Galaxies club on Mission Street (2565 Mission). For those of you who missed the excitement the other night, mark your calendars for this crucial evening. Tickets go on sale soon – there will be discounts for tickets purchased early. For those of you who surrounded us with love last night, we know you’ll come out again on that warm, spring night to share in the joy.

We are forming a street team of producers to sell tickets and get the word out about intelligent music and lyrics and will be contacting some of you gregarious fans regarding this – lots of prizes, perks, and free tickets are involved!
